Beginning to appreciate NOLA again...

I have slowly begun to recover from the first semester of law school, a recovery that was hampered by the fact that Tulane started a week earlier than any other law school in the country. As a consequence, I am 3 weeks into school without any motivation or interest in learning more. Hopefully, I'll get so scared soon that I'll start making myself go to the library, although I have a feeling that will be even harder now that the forecast says it will be 70 degrees for the next....10 months? I hope to enjoy it before the humidity arrives.

There really isn't that much to report: E's busy volunteering for various people and starts interning for an architect soon. As stated above, I am dodging schoolwork. We are going to have the opportunity to show off the city when several people come down to visit us soon. With the combination of Mardi Gras season and the Saints (if they keep doing as well as they are doing--which they will), they are in for a good show: lots of excitement and more public drunkenness than ever seen before (and yes, for those who experienced it, more than Foxfield).

I do, however, have some pictures from the night after my last final (thanks to one S. Tooter) which I think fairly captures the sentiment of the night and please note, there are no pictures from the rest of the evening, which continued into the next day when E and I caught a 6 AM flight. It wasn't pretty.
