Just because I've been hearing some reports about how cold it is back in the Northeast, I thought you might want to enjoy that nice fall weather by comparing it to the record breaking heat and humidity we've had this week (yes, the week when we've had no water and couldn't take showers). It's been about 94/95 every day, big thunderstorms rolling through and instead of cooling things off, have only made it steamy enough that when you walk out from the air conditioning into the oppressively sultry air, your glasses fog up immediately.
And yet, I think the first day of fall was about two weeks ago? Strange.
The law school has a formal (ie a prom with old people complete with a King and Queen) next weekend, so I'm working hard to make sure I get some of my work out of the way so I am able to go and enjoy what will undoubtedly be an interesting and most likely painfully awkward evening. This event is notorious for the bad--and sometimes illegal--behavior of the law students, so I'll make sure to post some pictures.
